Strong Base Lunamoon - 60 ml

Strong Base is a solid base with gel-like properties that ensures secure adhesion and reinforcement of the nail plate. It makes the nails hard and strong, while self-leveling very quickly thanks to its medium-liquid consistency that spreads easily in just a few seconds. The weakly acidic formula with a pH of 5–6 is suitable for most clients and is hypoallergenic. It may cause heat or burning sensations on very thin or damaged nails, but does not burn healthy nails. The base can be removed both by filing and with remover liquids. If you remove the tacky layer, you can skip the top coat, as the surface already has a high gloss finish. The main rule of alignment is that the thickness at the free edge should be 0.5 mm. For proper curing, use an original lamp with a power of 36–48 W.

  1. Remove the old product. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of free edge to file after leveling.

  2. Gently buff the surface using a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer to lift any flakes from the nail plate.

  3. Perform manicure. If removers were used, wash hands with soap and water.

  4. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon in two steps: first with a wipe (1 per 5 nails), then wrap an orangewood stick with a wipe and clean around the cuticles and nail folds.

  5. Primer is optional.

  6. Apply a Rubber Base underlayer from LUNAmoon using rubbing motions with a flat gel brush, making sure to cover all recesses. Cure for 60 seconds.

  7. Remove the tacky layer.

  8. Apply Strong Base to create leveling. Cure for 90 seconds.

  9. After leveling, dust off the nails. This step is essential to build thickness at the free edge.

  10. If the nail was thin, slight curling may occur. File down 1 mm of the natural nail from the center to compensate.

  11. After filing, remove the tacky layer and apply gel polish or a thin layer of camouflage base.

  12. Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve the shine.
